Karen Schorkopf is a professional Business Broker with over 30 years of banking, investment and consulting experience. Her background is very diverse, covering most industries and spanning from International Investment Banking clients on Wall Street to serving Main Street businesses in the ever-expanding Middle Tennessee market. She has enjoyed helping business owners and executives build their business while guiding the buyers as they navigate the acquisition process.

As a seasoned business and community leader, Karen's advantage is her very extensive local and global networking resources. She brings strong skills honed over decades of corporate experience necessary to close deals. These include financial analysis, marketing, due diligence, business valuations, lending and negotiations. Karen's key to success is her ability to inspire trust, her commitment to communication, her perseverance and her strong desire for 'win-win' outcomes.

Karen graduated from Duke University with a BS Degree in Economics before completing the Commercial Finance Program at New York University's School of Business.

Karen recently served on the Board for Mercy Community Healthcare in Franklin, TN and is active in numerous other professional and civic organizations. Previously, she served on boards in banks, real estate groups, chambers, senior organizations, professional services groups and economic development organizations.

Karen lives in Franklin TN with her husband, Paul. They have three grown sons.
